Lyme Park 21-01-15
Today we went to Lyme Park, Disley, Cheshire. Home of the famous BBC Pride and Prejudice set. If you are in the National Trust then it is free to get in otherwise there is a charge for the car park. Instead of parking at the main car park, we continued round and up the hill to the right and parked at the top and then took a brief walk round there. The weather was bitterly cold with snow hitting our faces but it was lovely. I felt like I was in the pages of a pre 20th century book. A short but very refreshing and easy walk. Beautiful views.

Hope Woodlands Walk 14-01-15
Bitterly cold. It had snowed in the night.
Hope Woodlands Walk lies to the north along the Snake Pass.
